Lesson Aim

To understand how Jesus is exalted in heaven

Hook 1:Passage

Have the passage projected so that it is enlarged before the children.

Have different children come out and highlight in different colours the parts of the passage which show:-

• Which people are in heaven
• What the people are doing in heaven
• The Lamb
• What it says about the Lamb

Other points which you could cover are:-

• The question in v 13
• Other things which the book of Revelation teaches about heaven

Story tips:

This talk is probably more suited to older children or church children.

Most children will be confident about highlighting the passage on a laptop while it is being projected. They will almost certainly have seen this done at school.

Application

At the centre of heaven Jesus, the Lamb, is being worshipped by those who have been cleansed in his blood i.e. Christians.
